Do You Have a Question?
What happens if the needs of my loved one change?
Our primary aim is the physical and mental health of the resident, therefore we will conduct regular assessments to determine whether their individual care packages need to be amended. If the assessment identifies the needs of the resident have changed, they may need to be referred to a nursing home. We will keep family members informed if this is the case.
Will my loved one still maintain the same level of freedom that they had at home?
We encourage your loved ones to continue to live with the same freedom as they had in their own home.
When can I visit my loved one?
We welcome family members to visit their loved ones at any time throughout the day, but we kindly request that staff be notified ahead of evening visits.
Do you allow pets in the home?
Small pets are allowed with prior agreement
Can our loved one bring their own furniture?
Definitely, but please be aware that it may not be possible to accommodate large items of furniture. Residents’ bedrooms are furnished and cover all the basic needs for storage and comfort, but we do encourage residents to bring items to personalise their room and make them feel more at home. Please note that any furniture brought in must be removed once your loved one leaves the home.
How flexible is the menu and meal times?
We are very flexible with the menu and our chefs always strive to personalise meals at the request of your loved one. Our residents also have the option to eat in the social environment of the dining room or in the privacy of their room.
What activities do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of activities, including arts and crafts, quizzes, film afternoons, live entertainment and board games, amongst others. We also arrange day trips for residents.
Can I take my loved one out?
Off course, as long as there are no medical reasons that might prevent this, we encourage trips out of the home so residents can enjoy a change of scenery. We just that you notify us ahead of the trip so we can ensure they are sufficiently prepared and we know when to expect them back.
Which kind of funding do you accept?
We accept social and private funding.
